Natural Cures For Yeast Infections

Yes, that might as well be me in that picture lol. Several weeks ago, i came down with a bad, bad case of yeast infection. Needless to say, I was in a lot of discomfort. Sounds like a typical yeast infection right? Well, it was except mine were of a nasty nature. They’ve been occuring for more than a couple of months now. I have not been able to find a solution to my problem and lord knows, i’m not the only one.

I did some quick research online and found i’m not the only one. This website is dedicated to anyone who is suffering from any sort of yeast infection- whether male or female.

I’ve done a lot of research and this website is my culmination of solutions, quick fixes, and things that just don’t work. It’s basically everything you wanted to know, and NOT know about yeast infections.

Oh, and does a quick yeast infection cure actually exist? Absolutely..AND, it’s a home remedy! I’ll let you know about how I learned about it and where i got my answer. Read on dear friends!

Granted, i never had a bout of oral yeast infection, but i’ve had blog readers send in information about it. I thought it would  be to pass along. Please let me know if you suffer the same problems and whether my recommendation has helped.

Just like a vaginal yeast infection, oral yeast infections are the fungus that occur in the lining of your mouth. Gross, huh?  It’s even more painful than it sounds when i brush my teeth and scrape my gums by accident and guess what happens? The sores bleed. It’s bad Kim. I’ve been susceptible to oral yeast infections because i’m a combination of

• Are an older adult
• Have a compromised immune system
• Use oral corticosteroids or antibiotics
• Use a corticosteroid inhaler for asthma

Ok, does this sound familiar to anyone else? Well, as my husband to say “not to gross you out, BUT…” here it goes. Generally during sex, i’d experience a sort of burning. It happened on and off and I really didn’t think anything of it except that it was very discomforting. But then came the smell, and then the milky discharge. I’m not making this up. I never really had any sort of yeast infections when i was younger so i was surprised to find that i did now at the age of 29. 

I’d love to hear from any other women if they came into their yeast infections late in life.

One thing I hadn’t been able to pinpoint when i was experiencing yeast infection outbreaks, was what was the root cause of that yeast infection. A quick web lookup explained this to me:

“andidiasis is caused by a fungus-like yeast. Although it can affect any woman, candidiasis is more frequent among women who are pregnant, diabetic or obese. These conditions can alter the body’s metabolic balance and vaginal acidity, and promote the growth of the fungus”

Ok, I’m not pregnant, diabetic or obese. But what about my vaginal aciditiy? Therein lied the first clue..
